Gender based Violence affecting many women in South Africa
Gender-based violence (GBV) remains a critical issue in South Africa, where countless women endure physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. This pervasive problem not only impacts the victims but also weakens communities and hinders societal progress. Despite efforts to raise awareness and promote legal reforms, many women continue to suffer in silence, facing a cycle of violence, fear, and isolation.
The effects of GBV are devastating, leaving survivors emotionally scarred and in need of comprehensive support. From access to shelters and legal aid to mental health care and vocational training, the need for resources to help these women rebuild their lives is more urgent than ever.
